Heavy Maintenance Fitter Position

This is a full-time role that requires a maintenance fitter to work on various heavy machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have trade qualifications in engineering or mechanical fitting, along with experience in welding and hydraulic systems.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on all quarry equipment, including crushers, screens, conveyors, and stackers
  • Work on shutdowns and general maintenance tasks
  • Carry out repair work aligned to work schedules
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Trade qualification in engineering or mechanical fitting (Cert III Engineering Mechanical)
  • Experience in welding and hydraulic systems
  • Full driver's license required
  • Fitting experience with fixed and mobile plant applications
  • Fault finding and experience with fixed plant and quarry equipment desirable
