This position offers a unique chance to contribute to the delivery of high-quality aged care services. You will be involved in developing and implementing therapy programs that promote physical function, independence, and social engagement among residents.

To succeed in this role, you will require a strong foundation in allied health principles and practices. As an Allied Health Assistant, you will work closely with clinicians to deliver evidence-based interventions that address the complex needs of older adults.

You will have opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge through ongoing mentoring and professional development. We also offer flexible work arrangements and a culture that values work-life balance.

The successful candidate will possess a Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent experience. Current physiotherapy or occupational therapy students seeking hands-on experience in aged care are encouraged to apply.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of therapy programs that promote physical function and independence
  • Collaborate with clinicians to develop and implement evidence-based interventions
  • Contribute to the development of resident-centred care plans
  • Assist with falls prevention and active ageing initiatives
