About the Role

As a Community Support Worker, you will provide personalized assistance to older individuals in their own homes.

This includes daily living support, personal care, and facilitating access to medical appointments and social activities.

You will work closely with clients and their families to build positive relationships and ensure they receive the necessary support to maintain their independence.

The ideal candidate will be willing to travel between clients' homes and demonstrate flexibility and a strong commitment to supporting older Australians in their communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily living support including domestic assistance and meal preparation
  • Personal care including showering, daily hygiene, and monitoring of health and wellbeing
  • Facilitating access to medical appointments and social activities
  • Providing support with daily tasks and routines
  • Building positive relationships with clients and their families

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle with minimum third-party insurance
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
  • Passionate about making a positive impact in our ageing community
  • A current First Aid and CPR Certificate (must be obtained prior to employment)
