Suncorp Group is seeking a Senior Analyst to enhance financial resilience through natural hazard modelling and reinsurance optimisation. This role offers a solid foundation for career growth and technical development.

  • Developing and maintaining modelling processes for natural hazard budgeting and reinsurance optimisation.
  • Preparing, validating, and managing data used in natural hazard and reinsurance modelling.
  • Supporting the delivery of technical outputs to internal stakeholders within agreed timeframes.
  • Contributing to automation and improvement of analytical workflows.
  • Collaborating with external consultants and brokers on data delivery and modelling inputs.
  • Building effective relationships with internal teams to understand and support business needs.

This opportunity suits professionals looking to develop skills in natural hazards and reinsurance modelling. The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Actuarial, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or Mathematics, along with experience in general insurance or financial services. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as proficiency in Excel and experience with SQL, SAS, or similar tools.
