Job Overview

We are seeking a professional to support the financial resilience of our organization through the development and delivery of modelling processes related to natural hazards and reinsurance.

This role is within our Capital & Investments team, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely outputs. It offers a solid foundation for career growth and technical development.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain modelling processes for natural hazard budgeting and reinsurance optimization
  • Prepare, validate, and manage data used in natural hazard and reinsurance modelling
  • Support the delivery of technical outputs to internal stakeholders within agreed timeframes
  • Contribute to automation and improvement of analytical workflows
  • Collaborate with external consultants and brokers on data delivery and modelling inputs
  • Build effective relationships with internal teams to understand and support business needs
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Actuarial, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or Mathematics
  • Experience in general insurance or financial services is preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with SQL, SAS, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with Python or other programming languages is desirable
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow
