We are seeking an experienced Commercial Strategy Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading a commercial strategy that drives business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing a comprehensive commercial strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives
  • Leading cross-functional teams to implement the commercial strategy and drive business results
  • Managing procurement planning, tendering and contract management activities to ensure compliance with legislation, procurement policies and procedures
  • Providing advice and direction to support contract management and commercial strategy outcomes
  • Engaging and negotiating with clients and stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
Essential Criteria:
  • At least 5 years' demonstrated experience in a similar role within a large complex organisation
  • Demonstrated experience in management and oversight of complex defence contracts
  • Demonstrated experience with procurement planning, tendering and contract management activities
  • Previous experience assisting in all contract negotiations, preparation of Contract Change Proposals (CCPs), and contract performance/compliance measurement and management
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with clients and other contractors in a tightly integrated team
