Job Title: Support Dental Practitioners

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to support our dental practitioners in providing top-notch care to patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and receive patients, ensuring they feel comfortable during their visit.
  • Carry out reception duties, including taking appointments and processing payments.
  • Coordinate with patients to assist them in complying with prescribed treatment plans.
  • Assist dental practitioners, hygienists, and therapists during various treatment procedures.
  • Prepare for dental surgery, arrange instruments, and medication.
  • Ensure proper infection control standards are maintained according to established procedures.
  • Process instruments after use, sterilize them, and prevent infection.
  • Update patient records electronically.
  • Handle and prepare dental materials used in treatments.
  • Organize, handle, and transfer instruments during dental procedures.
  • Expose, process, and catalog radiographs (X-rays).
  • Photograph exterior and interior oral structures.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:

  • Hold a Certificate II, Certificate III, or higher qualification in a relevant field.
  • Have at least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Enjoy interacting with people.
  • Be organized and efficient.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Enjoy responsibility.
  • Able to comprehend and follow instructions.
  • Skilled at multitasking.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Saturday, except Wednesdays. You will be based in Torrens Park, SA 5062.

Salary: $55,655 per year

Relocation: We require the ability to commute or relocate before starting work.
