The role of the Senior Payroll Compliance Specialist is to ensure that our payroll systems, processes, and ways of working are compliant with Enterprise Agreements, Industrial Awards, Policies, and Legislation. This involves developing and implementing a compliance framework that ensures accuracy, integrity, and regulatory alignment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive payroll compliance program.
- Lead payroll compliance initiatives to ensure accuracy, integrity, and regulatory alignment.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure accurate payroll outcomes, risk identification, and mitigation.
- Payroll operations, analyst or compliance background.
- Demonstrated understanding of payroll compliance principles.
- Ability to interpret and understand relevant industrial awards and agreements and related legislative, regulatory, and statutory obligations.
- Leadership skills, including constructive and collaborative style, proactive sharing of expertise, coaching, and mentoring.
