About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Leisure Activities Coordinator to join our team. Located in a supportive community, you will be responsible for delivering innovative leisure and lifestyle activities tailored to the needs, interests, and capabilities of residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning of activity programs with staff, liaising with team members, residents, and carers.
  • Ensure all residents participate in an activity program of interest and can achieve desired outcomes.
  • Confirm activity programs with the Manager, providing details on residents involved, timetables, and resources organized.
  • Evaluate activities, complete daily activity participation sheets, and other paperwork, reflecting continuous improvement.
  • Develop activities based on previous interests and current capabilities to enhance quality of life.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in aged/community care or lifestyle programs in age care is ideal but not required.
  • Resilience, resourcefulness, and commitment to our values of compassion, respect, imagination, and boldness.
  • A Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or equivalent qualifications or demonstrated competency in this role.
