The Role

You will drive resident engagement and participation in social, recreational, and cultural activities. You will lead mental health and wellbeing programs that empower residents' choices and independence.

This role is offered as permanent part-time with fortnightly rosters.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan and lead activities for residents to meet their social and recreational needs while promoting independence and quality of life. 
  2. Assess and document program effectiveness by tracking residents' progress and adjusting programs as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum Cert III in Leisure and Lifestyle
  • Senior First Aid Certificate essential
  • Previous experience in aged or community care
  • Highly developed organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to solve problems independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes
