The Recreation Manager position is responsible for designing and implementing leisure activities for a community or organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and deliver recreational programs for community members, such as sports leagues, fitness classes, and social events.
  • Collaborate with community leaders, residents, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and interests and develop programs that meet their requirements.
  • Manage program resources to ensure that programs are delivered efficiently.
  • Coordinate with other departments and organizations to promote programs and events and ensure their success.
  • Recruit and manage program staff, including instructors, coaches, and volunteers.
  • Evaluate and improve program performance to ensure participant satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management, Sports Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in recreation management, with a focus on community programs.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
