Job Title: Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced diesel mechanic to join our team. This role offers a flexible roster with job security, stability, and real career progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform planned maintenance and carry out major component change outs across various mine sites throughout the Pilbara and North West regions.
  • Work alongside experienced team members to complete quality OEM level work while providing great customer service to clients.
Requirements:
  • Ensure the highest safety standards are embraced, displayed, and driven from within - safety takes priority over everything else.
  • Hold relevant Australian (or Australian recognised) mobile plant trade qualifications.
  • Have experience, knowledge, and understanding of mining equipment.
  • Have a strong work ethic and the ability to work in remote areas within a supported team.
  • Have good communication and customer service skills with the ability to build long-term relationships.
  • A police clearance and current driver's license are essential.
Benefits:
  • Competitive starting wage, 15% nightshift loading, zone allowance & potential bi-annual bonuses.
  • Multiple rosters and ad-hoc available.
  • Scaled rates – starting rate $67/hr, potential to qualify for $85/hr based on yearly performance & training completed.
  • Superannuation paid on all ordinary hours up to 12 hours per rostered shift.
  • Minimum 12hrs paid for all work days whilst working in the Pilbara on rostered days.
  • 1hr of Airport standby time & 2hrs of flight travel time paid to/from the Pilbara.
  • All travel hours on site paid – airport to site, intersite, and site to camp / vice versa.
  • Reimbursements paid for transport to and from home to airport, or airport parking.
  • Brand new HP Laptop provided to new employees – no more paper timesheets.
  • 12hrs paid fatigue days whilst in the Pilbara.
  • 210hr annual leave & 10 days' personal leave per annum.
