HealthcareLink is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Darwin. As an Occupational Therapist with our organization, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality services to NDIS participants and stakeholders.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering generalist and specialist Occupational Therapy services through timely interventions, ensuring optimal health outcomes for our clients. You will also facilitate effective service delivery by utilizing appropriate information systems and maintaining relevant statistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery of occupational therapy services to individuals with disabilities, focusing on enabling them to participate fully in their daily lives.
  • Collaboration with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Continuous professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in occupational therapy.
  • Liaising with community and health service providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification that confers eligibility to register with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency).
  • Proven experience in assessing and implementing clinical interventions in disability settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated awareness of multicultural issues and ability to interact effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • A current NT driver's license or ability to obtain one.

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary range of $65,000-$85,000 per year, plus superannuation.
