This role offers an opportunity to lead comprehensive safety, health, and hygiene programs as the HSE Leader. The position requires providing direction and technical expertise in implementing and managing worker safety, health, and hygiene initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Implementation: Develop and execute strategies for comprehensive safety, health, and hygiene programs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal and corporate standards related to QHSE.
  • Risk Management: Coordinate with the QHSE workgroup and provide regular updates on potential risks and impacts.
  • Injury Management: Act as the Site's injury management coordinator and liaison with government regulators, medical providers, and rehabilitation bodies.
  • Management Systems: Oversee Safety, Health & Environmental Management systems ensuring adherence to global and internal standards.
Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment or equivalent is essential.
  • 10+ years of experience in a production environment are required.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate team members and stakeholders is crucial.
  • Ability to foster collaboration, build trust, and effectively communicate a shared vision is vital.
