
Strategic Recruitment Leader

Discover a role that blends strategy and delivery, where you'll design talent strategies, lead employer branding initiatives, and drive recruitment innovation. You will report to the General Manager People Operations and collaborate with property-based leaders.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a people leader to inspire and manage the Talent Acquisition function, driving excellence across all recruitment touchpoints within our Sydney Star property.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the Talent Acquisition team to ensure high levels of team engagement by providing learning and development opportunities.
- Partnering with leaders to forecast workforce demand, build pipelines, and deliver proactive sourcing strategies.
- Designing and delivering Star Sydney's talent acquisition strategy in alignment with workforce and growth priorities.
- Developing and maintaining strategic sourcing partners, including educational institutions and industry groups, to ensure a robust sourcing pipeline.
- Championing an exceptional candidate experience across all recruitment touchpoints.
- Executing onboarding learning delivery and operations for Property, ensuring effective facilitation of learning programs.
- Ensuring the team supports compliance with legislation, including Casino Control Act and associated Internal Control Manual/SOPs requirements.
We are looking for a proven leader who has managed diverse teams across high-volume, compliance-heavy, and specialized recruitment areas.
Key qualifications include:
- Proven leadership experience managing diverse teams.
- Background in hospitality or retail, with exposure to government or large corporate environments.
- Skilled in building talent pipelines through partnerships and representing the brand at events.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence senior executives.
- Proven capability in employer branding, EVP development, and recruitment marketing.
- Confident in analyzing recruitment data and translating insights into strategy.
