The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join our lean and agile team. As a true generalist, you will be responsible for end-to-end HR functions, including OH&S, wellbeing, diversity, equity, and inclusion, award interpretation and calculations, and the provision of HR advice. Your portfolio will include a largely casualised workforce, requiring a proactive and self-sufficient approach.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide HR support and advice to all levels of the organisation, including award interpretation, complicated calculations, and workplace relations matters.
  2. Develop and implement HR strategies to drive business outcomes and improve employee engagement.
  3. Collaborate with the Executive General Manager People & Culture to drive organisational change and improvement.
  4. Lead key projects and initiatives to drive business growth and improvement.
  5. Ensure all compliance and governance requirements are met, including OH&S and wellbeing initiatives.

Requirements

  1. Generalist HR experience, either as an HR Advisor ready to step up or an HR Business Partner, with a strong background in award-based and diverse workforces.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  3. High proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables, with experience in HRIS systems, such as Employment Hero.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results.
  5. Strong business acumen and understanding of organisational change and improvement.
