Business Growth Specialist

About the Role:
As a key member of the commercial team, you will play a vital role in driving business growth and financial improvement. Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting in-depth analysis to provide insightful recommendations for approval.
- Identifying areas for improvement across all aspects of the business and supporting corrective action implementation.
- Facilitating working group sessions to support senior management teams.
- Maintaining strong knowledge of the transport industry and intermodal network.
- Collaborating effectively to strategize and implement change, optimizing business performance.
You will also be responsible for building a thorough understanding of the profit and loss statement, articulating weekly and monthly financial performance, and reviewing/challenging financial results to contribute to business insights.
Your expertise will be essential in providing commercial oversight for key contracts, analyzing key performance indicators, and contributing to the development of new business metrics. Additionally, you will be involved in financial budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting, as well as developing cost models and value-add analysis.
