Property Recoveries Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Recoveries Specialist to join our organization.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, with a proven track record of managing complex recovery processes.

  • Manage the recovery process for home claims, ensuring efficient and effective recovery of costs and losses.
  • Provide expert insights and guidance on property recovery referrals.
  • Negotiate settlements with responsible parties, including individuals, contractors, and other insurers.
  • Analyse and gather documentation essential to claims, from claim details to legal documents.
  • Maintain clear, ongoing communication with members, claims adjusters, legal representatives, and other relevant parties.
  • Uphold ethical standards in your investigations, ensuring confidentiality and fairness.

As a Property Recoveries Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our goal of making life better for our members and community.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in Personal Lines Insurance Claims, Recoveries, or similar roles.
  • Knowledge of recoveries practices, including court procedures and General Insurance Codes of Practice.
  • Strong understanding of privacy principles, dispute resolution processes, and legislative requirements.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Outstanding communication and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
