Job Overview

The Learn to Swim Supervisor plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality aquatic instruction to diverse age groups and skill levels, fostering confidence and safety within the organization's award-winning Learn to Swim program.

This position involves overseeing the effective implementation of Learn to Swim lessons, maintaining exceptional customer service standards for parents and swimmers. The supervisor will also assist in identifying training needs for the program and providing coaching to instructors to ensure they meet required skill standards.

  • Provide top-notch in-water learn to swim and water safety instruction aligned with MUSAC's Learn to Swim program lesson and progression plans.
  • Ensure the smooth delivery of Learn to Swim lessons while maintaining superior customer service standards for parents and swimmers.
  • Promptly identify and resolve complaints, ensuring positive customer service outcomes.
  • Assist in identifying training needs for the Learn to Swim program and provide coaching to Learn to Swim instructors to ensure skill levels are maintained at required standards.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment through initiatives such as recognition awards and open communication.

The ideal candidate will possess experience teaching Learn to Swim (LTS) and water safety across all levels and age groups, strong planning and organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and proven customer service and problem-solving abilities. Supervisory experience is desirable but not mandatory.
