We are seeking a highly skilled Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator to join our team at ISS Integrated Serv P/L in Gladstone. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining our client's assets safely and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Primary duties:
Operate and maintain wastewater treatment plants, ensuring efficient and effective treatment of wastewater. - Secondary duties:
Perform repairs and maintenance tasks as required, utilizing your trade qualifications and skill set. - Implement and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to our Zero Harm safety culture.
- Conduct work in a safe manner, following our safe work procedures, instructions, and safety management practices.
- Utilize safety equipment and personal protective equipment as provided.
- Participate in the call-out roster and attend emergency call-outs as required.
- Contribute to process improvements through continuous innovation and improvement.
- Assist other trades and site personnel as needed.
- Certification III in Water Operations (Water Treatment)
- Open QBCC Plumbers License
- Current Open Driver's License
- Forklift license (preferable)
- Construction White Card (CPCCOHS1001A - Work safely in the construction industry or CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry)
- Knowledge of safety issues relevant to the industry and a commitment to safe working practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
