Job Description

As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing the forward stores function for the zone to ensure efficient and effective entry, tracking, and staging of parts. This position offers the chance to lead the function across two key locations, with regular travel between workshops.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a stores or inventory focused role, with the ability to analyse data to forecast future inventory demands and align with maintenance requirements. They will also possess a valid forklift licence and knowledge of Maintenance Planning (desirable).

Key Responsibilities
  • Catalogue, order, and issue parts in line with work orders and maintenance budgets.
  • Maintain accurate bin locations, stocking strategies, and monthly stock takes.
  • Coordinate outbound freight to central stores and external vendors.
  • Ensure accurate record keeping in SAP and other relevant systems.
  • Support planners and supervisors by staging parts for efficient work execution.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a stores or inventory focused role.
  • Ability to analyse data to forecast future inventory demands and align with maintenance requirements.
  • Experience and possession of a valid forklift licence.
  • Knowledge of Maintenance Planning (desirable).
