Senior Clinical Coder Position

Gold Coast Private Hospital is seeking a Senior Clinical Coder to play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of patient records.
As a Clinical Coder, you will work closely with the clinical team to provide the highest standards of medical care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver an exceptional coding service by accurately assigning ICD-10-AM for patient discharges.
- Provide excellent customer service to the department by assisting with medical record management activities.
- Support Healthscope's safety and quality improvement by participating in department meetings and coding audits.
Essential Criteria:
- HIMAA Certification in Clinical Coding or other recognised Clinical Coding course.
- At least 1+ years clinical coding experience within a hospital setting.
- Sound understanding of Codefinder and Turbocoder.
