Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Finance Professional to support our project finance operations.

This key role involves effective financial management, cost control, scheduling, and risk management to maintain project success.

You will partner closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to provide analysis, insight, and solutions to keep projects on track and deliver outcomes that matter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Control: Budgeting, expenditure tracking, cost forecasting, and recommending corrective actions to optimize financial performance.
  • Project Financials: Managing workforce plans, timesheets, monthly accruals, financial reporting, and bid estimation support to ensure accurate project financials.
  • Document Control: Ensuring accurate, compliant, and accessible project records for smooth project execution.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Delivering project status reports, performance analysis, and change management support to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration & Improvement: Engaging with stakeholders to identify issues and driving continuous improvement in project finance and controls.
Requirements
  • Experience in project finance, project accounting, or project controls, preferably in Defence or a complex industry.
  • Proven expertise in EACs (Estimate at Completion) and strong financial acumen.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and well-developed communication and time management skills.
  • A detail-oriented, analytical approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • A current or eligibility to obtain AGSVA security clearance (mandatory).
