Gardening Mentor Role

We are seeking a skilled Gardening Mentor to join our team and support participants in our gardening program.

This part-time position, approximately 60 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday, involves guiding new and existing participants in gardening activities using equipment such as mowers and brush cutters.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for training and mentoring others, with relevant gardening experience and certifications such as White Card.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and support to participants in gardening activities
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance participant skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Agriculture or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in gardening or horticulture
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
