Job Title: Commercial Operations Expert

About the Role:

As a Commercial Operations Expert, you will play a critical role in supporting our Defence and Security Solutions team. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, you will contribute to the development, negotiation, review, and management of contracts.

  • You will contribute to the development, negotiation, review, and management of contracts to effectively mitigate risks and maximise opportunities.
  • You will manage client concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • You will contribute to negotiations of key subcontracts and purchase orders, ensuring appropriate flow downs, addressing risks, and incorporating compensation provisions from the contract.
  • You will be responsible for creating and managing subcontracts, ensuring alignment with project requirements and organisational standards.
  • You will provide support to projects by overseeing all commercial aspects of affiliated contracts.
  • You will ensure fulfilment of contract requirements and interface with internal business functions to guarantee and assure contract compliance.
  • You will utilise your specialised knowledge and skills to solve complex and unique problems related to commercial and procurement activities.
  • You will evaluate and manage project commercial risks, ensuring alignment with our internal policies. This includes overseeing finance, insurance, controls, estimating, compliance, and procurement activities within the project.
  • You will collaborate with internal business functions to provide comprehensive support to projects. This involves interfacing with various stakeholders to address project requirements and challenges.
