Leader of Risk and Culture Transformation

The Opportunity: A visionary leader is sought to drive proactive and accountable risk management practices across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leaders to integrate risk thinking into everyday business decisions, strategic planning, and operations.
  • Establish and monitor frameworks and metrics to assess risk culture maturity and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Drive alignment with regulatory requirements, supporting governance and contributing to risk-related reporting.
  • Champion collaboration across teams to embed consistent messaging and shared responsibility for risk management.
  • Influence key stakeholders and lead change initiatives that foster openness, resilience, and continuous improvement in risk practices.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, leveraging feedback and trends to evolve the organisation's approach to risk capability.

About You: An experienced and influential leader in the financial services sector, with a strong background in risk, compliance, or internal audit. Proven track record of developing and embedding risk culture frameworks and 3LOD capability programs, supported by relevant tertiary and postgraduate qualifications in risk, compliance, or leadership. Known for engaging senior stakeholders and driving cultural change, you bring strategic insight, credibility, and a passion for fostering a resilient, learning-oriented organisation.
