Supply Chain Management Professional for Maritime Remediation

We are seeking an experienced Supply Support Officer to join our team in Sydney, working on a remediation program for the Royal Australian Navy within the Maritime Domain.

About the RoleThe Supply Support Officer will work within an integrated team conducting Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) reviews of naval platforms to ensure maintenance and sparing baselines are suitable for through-life support.
Main Responsibilities:- Support the Commonwealth in Design Acceptance of ILS Products
- Assure implementation of updated ILS products into CMT-U/AMPS
- Support technical specialists to align prioritization of systems under analysis with system remediation plans
- Triage obsolescence items and recommend Commonwealth action
- Materiel inventory management, including purchase to payment processes, cataloguing, codification, inventory management, and investigations
- MILIS cataloguing changes to meet requirements
- Inventory management system administration: interpret data, reports, and provide solutions to inventory activity and issues
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A recognized tertiary qualification in Business, supply chain or similar, or demonstrate relevant professional experience
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Procurement / Supply Chain Management, Material Requirements Planning, Inventory Control, Costing and Valuation Methods Management
- Experience and understanding in the use of MILIS, LNIDS, SAP, and other ERP systems
- Knowledge and experience with NAVALLOW and APLCRATES
- Technical knowledge and experience with weapons electrical systems/assemblies desirable
- Demonstrated strength in written and oral communications, strong relationship skills, and stakeholder management experience
- An active Baseline Defence Security Clearance
