About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Analyst to join our team in Sydney CBD, NSW.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform material logistics inventory and asset management work within an integrated workforce;
  • Develop a solid understanding of relevant legislative frameworks, and Defence's mission and policy requirements;
  • Organise workflow, make independent decisions relating to your area of responsibility and seek guidance when required;
  • Undertake specialist research and analysis, conduct reviews and assessments and perform procedural and clerical support work to achieve results;
  • Liaise and coordinate with a broad range of stakeholders, including executives, contractors, APS and ADF members to identify, respond and provide advice on issues to achieve work unit and Defence outcomes;
  • Provide support that is informed and directed by your knowledge of Materiel Logistics;
About Our Team

The MCPSPO team within Maritime Systems Division, is responsible for delivering cross-Class sustainment services and advice across the maritime environment. We sustain and manage a range of complex military systems and supplies, through an extensive network of industry partners, domestic and off-shore.

Our operating environment is complex and challenging, requiring exceptional contract and relationship management and complex contract development skills. We work in a fast-paced environment as part of a diverse and inclusive Branch environment that encompasses a variety of knowledge, skills and experience within a supportive hierarchy.

Your Skills and Qualifications
  • You will be a results-oriented and energetic self-starter, able to work autonomously where required;
  • You will be organised, methodical and possess a strong attention to detail;
  • You will exhibit excellent record-keeping and data preparation skills;
  • You will have an understanding of inventory management but most importantly, enthusiasm to learn;
  • You will take responsibility and use initiative to achieve set goals;
  • You will be eager to learn and capable of quickly acquiring product knowledge;
  • You will possess strong analytical skills with a high level of computer literacy;
  • You will be able to identify potential problems and find suitable solutions for each situation;
  • You will be able to work in a fluid environment by remaining flexible, agile and adaptable;
  • You will be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

Estimated Salary: $83,706 - $89,659 + up to 15.4% Superannuation (dependent on location).
