Global Medical Communications Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced medical communications specialist to join our team as a key member of the global team at Amgen. As a leading biotechnology company, we are dedicated to serving patients and improving lives.

About the Role:

  • Create and implement omnichannel communications campaigns to engage with healthcare professionals and educate them on our products and services.
  • Develop and deliver medical education initiatives in response to needs analyses, ensuring accuracy and relevance of information.
  • Collaborate with brand teams, MSLs, and medical advisors to drive scientific communications strategy and holistic scientific communications plans.
  • Support non-promotional content creation, adaptation, and approval for both in-line and pipeline products.
  • Work with local therapeutic area leads to deliver local publication plans and ensure alignment with global strategies.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, chemistry, life science, or medicine (MSc/PharmD/PhD highly regarded).
  • Proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a similar role (in-house or as an external agency provider).
  • Medical affairs project management experience in a pharmaceutical company or healthcare communications agency.
  • Experience in developing and delivering medical-scientific education resources, such as meetings, webinars, slide decks, and education materials.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Veeva CRM.
  • Experience in the bone, cardiovascular, oncology, or inflammation therapeutic areas desirable.
