Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate professional to join our team as a Second in Charge (2IC). This is a permanent, part-time opportunity with hands-on experience in the OSHC industry.

The Role

As a 2IC, you will be a key leader in delivering high-quality care and creating memorable experiences for children in our service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with the school community and building relationships with parents, teachers, and students
  • Assisting with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the children's preferences
  • Fostering genuine relationships with children and their families
  • Playing and having fun with primary school-aged children
  • Ensuring program compliance with industry regulations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in Before and After School Care or education
  • Confident communication skills with children, parents, team members, and school principals
  • Strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude
  • Passion for creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children
  • Relevant Diploma qualification (equivalent or working towards it) as per ACECQA standards
