Rehabilitation Consultant Role

We are seeking a talented Occupational Therapist, Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team in a Rehabilitation Consultant position.

Your passion for making a real difference in people's lives and providing excellent customer care will shine through in this role.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Undertake occupational rehabilitation assessments, including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment assessments.
  • Develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans based on assessments relevant to your discipline.
  • Design and implement intervention programs using occupation to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
  • Identify barriers and design programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation.
  • Empower clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals by understanding various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes.
  • Liaise with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy.
  • Registration with either AHPRA or ESSA.
  • A genuine desire to make a measurable impact in people's lives.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with clients and stakeholders.
  • Customer-first mindset with a focus on quality outcomes.
  • Confidence working independently in the community.
  • Driver's licence and vehicle required.
  • Eligibility for a working with children's check and police clearance.
