Business Analyst Role

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, with strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.

We are seeking an ambitious Business Analyst to join our dynamic team focused on commercial banking solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze financial data, prepare credit submissions, and coordinate deal execution through documentation and funding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial modeling and analysis for business and commercial banking clients
  • Preparing credit submissions, deal packs, and marketing collateral for new facilities and business development activities
  • Performance monitoring and annual reviews for existing clients, reporting client financial and operational performance to Risk Management
  • Working closely with Product Specialists to meet client requirements

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience writing and analyzing credit transactions, completing annual reviews and reporting
  • Strong understanding of balance sheets, P&L, structuring of loans, securities, and financial products, along with well-developed financial analysis and modeling skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • Client service experience ideally in a commercial or business banking environment
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex transactions and have previous 'new to bank' transactional and credit risk experience
