Job Title:

Corrections Intelligence And Training Specialist

About the Role:

This challenging role requires a professional to lead the development and delivery of intelligence-based training for corrections staff. As a specialist in this field, you will develop and lead intelligence training for practitioners and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues and sector partners to research and innovate best practice training.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver intelligence-based training for CV staff
  • Manage and develop intelligence staff assigned to assist the development and facilitation of Intelligence training within CVIU and CVIS
  • Contribute to maintaining effective liaison with key external agencies and stakeholders

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have an existing Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance or obtain within 6 months of employment. Additionally, you will undertake the CV Intelligence Development Program - Introduction to Intelligence course within 6 months of employment. Relevant tertiary qualifications or thematic knowledge are desirable, as well as a Cert IV in Training and Assessment or willingness to obtain.
