We're the largest cardiology provider in Australia, with over 90 centres and 100 doctors. As our Patient Services Officer, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working efficiently in a fast-paced administrative role where patient care is paramount
  • Checking patient GP referrals with Medicare for accuracy
  • Processing correspondence to referrers and patients in a timely manner
  • Responding to incoming phone calls promptly and providing professional service
  • Collaborating with colleagues to manage medical appointments and related clinical information via the Health Track system

Requirements include:

  • Exceptional patient care and customer service skills, ideally in a medical/healthcare environment
  • Strong organisation and communication skills, with the ability to work proactively in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience in billing/receipting medical accounts, Medicare and DVA billing
  • Excellent phone manner and ability to handle high volumes of patient enquiries
  • High attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
