Patient Care Coordinator

We're the largest cardiology provider in Australia, with over 90 centres and 100 doctors. As our Patient Services Officer, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working efficiently in a fast-paced administrative role where patient care is paramount
- Checking patient GP referrals with Medicare for accuracy
- Processing correspondence to referrers and patients in a timely manner
- Responding to incoming phone calls promptly and providing professional service
- Collaborating with colleagues to manage medical appointments and related clinical information via the Health Track system
Requirements include:
- Exceptional patient care and customer service skills, ideally in a medical/healthcare environment
- Strong organisation and communication skills, with the ability to work proactively in a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience in billing/receipting medical accounts, Medicare and DVA billing
- Excellent phone manner and ability to handle high volumes of patient enquiries
- High attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
