Nurse Unit Manager position available in a hospital setting.

About the Role:
  • Accountability for delivering safe and effective patient care, with a focus on sound financial management of the acute care unit.
  • Promote innovation and improvement to enhance staff satisfaction and patient safety.
  • Develop strategies for rostering, absenteeism management, and recruitment to build a cohesive team.
  • Contribute to the management on-call roster on a shared basis.
About You:

Candidates should hold current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, and an annual practising certificate.

Postgraduate qualifications in acute care, health management, or Indigenous Health are highly desirable.

  • Credentialling as an X-ray operator is advantageous in a rural health facility.
