Social workers play a vital role in enhancing individuals' social and emotional functioning through targeted interventions.
This encompasses mobilising services and supports to address socioeconomic, cultural, psychological, and political determinants on health and wellbeing.
Successful applicants will provide clinical expertise across the broad continuum of health, leadership, and professional supervision within the healthcare sector.
They will support daily operational management for Social Work services.
- Applicants must possess a degree qualification in Social Work from a recognised tertiary institution and eligibility for professional membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Applicants must not have any outstanding ethical matters that may otherwise preclude eligibility for professional membership with the AASW.
- Overseas applicants must obtain a letter from the AASW confirming eligibility for professional membership and provide a copy with their application.
- The successful applicant is required to uphold the AASW Practice Standards 2013 and, if applicable, the AASW Practice Standards for Mental Health Social Workers 2014 and abide by the AASW Code of Ethics.
