About Our Opportunity

As a leading provider of public health services, we are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant to join our team.

We serve a diverse population and employ over 3,700 staff, delivering care to more than 700,000 patients annually.

This role offers a unique opportunity to provide advanced clinical leadership and expertise in Reprocessing of Reusable Medical Devices across Central Queensland.

About the Position
  • Provide expert clinical guidance and support to ensure compliance with AS5369 Standard across the region.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and safety in all aspects of medical device reprocessing.
About You
  • Current nursing registration through AHPRA is essential.
  • Certificate III in Sterilisation from an approved training organisation is required.
  • Gastroenterological Nurses College of Australasia (GENCA) endoscopy reprocessing training or willingness to undertake is preferred.
  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment from an approved training organisation is desirable.
  • Extensive experience in Infection Prevention and Control senior nursing roles is highly valued.
  • Relevant postgraduate qualification in Infection Prevention and Control is advantageous.
  • Credentialed status with the Australasian College for Infection Prevention and Control or willingness to complete requirements is beneficial.
  • Working knowledge of software packages including Microsoft Windows, Excel, Access, Matrix, and Power Point is necessary.
