Information Security Expert: Cyber Threat Mitigation

We are seeking a skilled Information Security expert to join our team, contributing to the technology products and services we deliver. Our Information Security capabilities are leveraged across all Business Unit Platforms within CFS to deliver industry-leading and secure Superannuation Technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities:- Gather and analyse threat intelligence data from various sources to inform security strategies.
- Create detailed intelligence reports and assessments to identify potential security threats.
- Prioritise and mitigate security risks to protect our systems and data.
- Provide expert analysis and advice on potential security incidents.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
In this role, you will contribute to the security direction related to Cyber Security strategy and influence the cyber security posture of our organisation.
Requirements:- Proven experience in threat intelligence analysis or a similar role.
- Proficiency with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex threat data.
- Deep understanding of the current threat landscape and security best practices.
- Collaborative experience working with multiple business stakeholders, including suppliers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as attention to detail.
- Security & Industry Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, etc. are preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of frameworks including NIST, Essential 8, and ISO27001.
- Experience with SIEM integrations, creating use cases, and incident investigations.
- Tertiary qualifications in IT or Computer Science, or equivalent certification.
