About the Role

Kirinari Community Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in Port Macquarie.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

Our team provides 24/7 support in supported independent living accommodation settings, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities, including domestic and personal care assistance
  • Assist customers to access and engage with their communities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless support and care
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, families, and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • Ability to work shift work, including weekends, public holidays, and overnight shifts
  • Resilience, confidence, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn software programs
