We have several opportunities available for entry-level and experienced professionals to provide high-quality support to individuals with disabilities in our supported independent living accommodation settings (SIL/Group Homes). Our team is committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing direct support to individuals with disabilities, including domestic and personal care assistance, as well as facilitating their access to community activities and resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and autonomy
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management
  • Facilitate access to community activities, social events, and recreational programs
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, families, and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support and care

Requirements

  • Ability to work shift work, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Resilience, confidence, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screening Check prior to commencement
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn software programs
  • Current driver's license
