About the Role

The Vintage Cellar Hand is a key member of our team, responsible for operating a variety of plant and machinery to begin the winemaking process. This is a fantastic opportunity for those new to the industry to gain hands-on experience and learn the skills necessary for a potential career in the wine industry.

Key Responsibilities

The Vintage Cellar Hand will be involved in a range of tasks, including:

  • Crusher Operations
  • Pressing (bags, screw, and drainers)
  • Fermentation
  • Filtering (RDV operation, Crossflows, Centrifuges)
  • Transfers and additions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Full working rights
  • Good communication skills
  • Literacy and numeracy skills
  • Ability to work rotating shift work (including some weekends)

Previous wine industry experience is desirable, as is a forklift licence and confined space ticket.
