About the Role

The Vintage Laboratory Assistant will play a critical role in supporting our winemaking teams with the collection and analysis of samples throughout the winemaking process. This is a fantastic opportunity for those new to the industry to gain valuable experience and skills for a potential career in the wine industry.

The successful candidate will work in our NATA-approved laboratory, utilizing state-of-the-art analysis apparatus to support the winemaking process. This role requires strong communication and literacy skills, as well as the ability to work rotating shift work, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Collection and preparation of samples
  • Performing laboratory analysis
  • Recording and reporting of results
  • Stock control
  • Laboratory housekeeping
  • Working at heights (15-meter high catwalks)
  • Working inside and outside in all weather conditions
What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Full working rights
  • Good communication and literacy skills
  • Ability to work rotating shift work, including weekends

Desirable skills include previous wine industry experience and Year 12 Chemistry or Laboratory AQF qualifications.
