Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director to lead our Montana Chapter. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance community relationships, build capacity, and drive mission achievement. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and results-driven individual to join our team and contribute to the American Red Cross's mission to alleviate human suffering.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as the primary liaison to the community, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
- Develop and manage the chapter board to effectively mobilize support and resources around the Red Cross mission.
- Develop and manage community volunteer leaders to drive mission achievement.
- Influence and create an environment of teamwork and inclusion.
- Four-year college degree (BS/BA) in Business, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Finance, or non-profit administration or equivalent experience required.
- Prefer Master's degree in the field of community organization, public or business administration, or non-profit management.
- Minimum of 5 years related experience, with demonstrated ability to exercise good and timely judgment in complex situations.
- Demonstrated ability for strong communications and influencing skills, along with public speaking and writing.
- Proven experience in influencing others and building relationships.
- Management experience preferred.
