Job Title: Senior Youth Justice Mental Health Clinician

About the Role:

The Senior Youth Justice Mental Health Clinician will be a valued member of the Infant Child Youth Mental Health Wellbeing Service. The role involves undertaking assessment and targeted care to young people in the Youth Justice System, as well as providing primary and secondary mental health consultation and tertiary mental health educational activities to Youth Justice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake assessment and targeted care to young people in the Youth Justice System
  • Provide primary and secondary mental health consultation to Youth Justice
  • Deliver tertiary mental health educational activities to Youth Justice

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant field
  • Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team and autonomously
  • Supervision endorsement or eligibility with the PBA for registrar supervision
  • Experience working in a Child and Youth Mental Health setting or a relevant area of practice
  • Experience and understanding of the Youth Justice system and treatment of young people
