We are seeking a skilled Portfolio Manager to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of our Multi-Asset Strategies & Solutions (MASS) team, you will be responsible for managing diverse portfolios across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the success of our team and the broader MASS business. You will work closely with our experienced investment professionals to develop and implement effective portfolio management strategies, leveraging your analytical and quantitative skills to drive performance and consistency.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of BlackRock's investment capabilities and solutions across multiple asset classes and product lines globally.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational improvements and enhance the overall portfolio management process.
  • Contribute to research initiatives related to multi-asset portfolios and other investment topics, providing valuable insights to inform investment decisions.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, delivering tailored portfolio solutions that meet their objectives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong background in finance, economics, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to build and maintain complex models and data sets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • A deep understanding of portfolio management theory and asset pricing models, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
