About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Property Portfolio Manager to oversee a substantial portfolio of residential properties, ensuring top-tier service and satisfaction for all clients.

In this senior role, you will play a key role in delivering excellence in property management, maintaining strong landlord relations, and providing mentorship to junior team members.

  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the leasing, rental reviews, inspections, and maintenance of 130+ residential properties, delivering an exceptional standard of property management.
  • Client Relations: Build and nurture strong relationships with landlords, ensuring their properties are protected and their investments are optimized.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise property management assistants and junior team members, providing guidance and professional development support.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct rental market research to ensure accurate appraisals and competitive rental rates for clients.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all legislative requirements and internal policies, minimizing risk while maintaining compliance standards.
  • Growth Initiatives: Contribute to the property management division's growth through innovative ideas and high-quality client service.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a senior property management role, with a successful track record in managing residential property portfolios.
  • Legislative Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act and other relevant legislation.
  • Relationship Building: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with landlords, tenants, and team members.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in property management software such as PropertyTree and AgentBox.
  • Industry Passion: A genuine commitment to the real estate sector and delivering exceptional client experiences.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, based on industry standards and market conditions.
