Electrophysiology Specialist Role

This challenging position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with leading healthcare professionals, delivering advanced medical technologies to patients in need. The successful candidate will provide clinical support, technical expertise, and educational guidance in the field of electrophysiology.

The role involves supporting new therapy introduction of Pulsed Field Ablation through the FARAPULSE system, providing clinical expertise to influence superior outcomes. The specialist will work closely with customers, operating Boston Scientific products, and providing detailed training/advice on clinical attributes/techniques associated with electrophysiology products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing clinical support, including basic troubleshooting, and clinical guidance to diagnose and treat cardiac arrhythmias.
  • Developing deep technical understanding of company products to train Cardiac Electrophysiologists, Physiologists, and Nurses.
  • Attending cases face-to-face or remotely, providing detailed training/advice on clinical attributes/techniques associated with electrophysiology products.

Requirements for this position include:

  • Previous clinical case experience within electrophysiology/rhythm management essential.
  • Strong technical and clinical skills.
  • Proven experience in building/maintaining customer relationships.
  • Proven ability to absorb complex technical information and apply it in the field.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication.

Desired qualifications include IBHRE EP, IBHRE Pacing.

Working Conditions

The Clinical Specialist will cover the Newcastle/Central Coast region, with travel required within Sydney as needed. Regular attendance at meetings/conferences/exhibitions is also expected to promote Boston Scientific products/services.
