About the role
Kotara Specialist Suites is seeking an experienced and friendly Medical Receptionist to join their close-knit team in Kotara, NSW. This is a part-time opportunity to work in a thriving specialist medical practice, providing essential administrative and customer service support to both patients and clinicians.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner
- Handling patient inquiries and booking appointments efficiently
- Maintaining accurate patient records and medical files
- Assisting with medical billing and processing payments
- Providing general administrative support to the practice
- Ensuring the reception area is well-presented and organised
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact sensitively with patients
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using medical software and standard office technology
- A friendly, professional and discreet manner
- A commitment to providing high-quality customer service
