Job Responsibilities
  • Clinical Services
    • Provide comprehensive clinical services for inpatients admitted under general medicine, ensuring timely and effective management of their care.
    • Participate in bed allocation, transfer of care, and patient flow according to hospital requirements.
  • Specialist Consultations
    • Offer specialist consultations and outpatient services to patients with complex medical needs.
  • Clinical Leadership
    • Lead and mentor junior colleagues, promoting high standards of patient care based on best practice and evidence.
Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
  • Skills and Experience
    • Demonstrated experience and qualifications in General Medicine.
    • Clinical leadership capacity, commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and willingness to participate in clinical research.
