Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic individual to join our team as a Support Worker.

  • Provide essential assistance to clients with high needs, aiding with personal care and daily tasks.
  • Support clients who use wheelchairs and have additional medical needs, ensuring they receive the necessary care.

The role involves working in a shared living environment, promoting autonomy and supporting residents around the clock. You will foster independence and handle complex situations with empathy and composure.

About You:

We are looking for an individual who is confident in engaging with clients effectively, building positive relationships, and supporting their unique needs.

  • Confident in prioritizing tasks and demonstrating problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexible, with availability for shift work, sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Able to pass a National Criminal History Check and hold a valid Australian Driver's License.
Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications and skills, including:

  • Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or equivalent (desirable).
  • Demonstrated understanding of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) processes (desirable).
